Once you have the base of your basket finished to the size you want, stop adding coils beside your last round, and begin to add them on top of the last coil. This will create the shape of your Moses basket. Take a look at Moses baskets (without hoods), Most have sides that angle out slightly from the base, although there are some which are like carriage baskets which are built directly on the coil below to give them very straight side walls. Work up the sides of your basket continuing to try to add your stitches into the basket either before or after your previous stitch in the row below, in order to build a decorative pattern of stitches.
