1:12 scale is a popular scale for dolls houses, but is less well represented by die cast cars. These are larger models than the usual diecast ranges of 1:18, 1:24 and 1:43 scales. They commonly come with working steering, independent suspension and high detail with prices linked to the finishing details and number of working parts. Exotic cars and race cars are the most popular subjects, although there are some family cars and some RC car shells available in 1:12 scale.
If you want to add to a friend's collection, find out what particular die cast scale, style and type of car they collect.
