Small scale cutters for polymer clay are easy to make from drinking straws or foil baking pans. These cutters can be used to make custom shapes for dollhouse baking, or for any miniature made from polymer clay. The cutters are made from large diameter drinking straws, or recycled foil baking pans and waste polymer clay. No special tools are needed to make the custom shapes.

Before you start, look at the full scale polymer clay shape cutters, or examine metal and plastic cookie cutters to see what type of detail you need to make your custom shapes. It is always a good idea to make simple shapes first, and try for shapes that can be used in more than one way, like the decorated bunny heads in the photo.
