Guide Review - Tonic Studios Mini Rotary Paper Scorer

If you make a lot of small printables, or score lines for flooring or brick work, especially in smaller scales where you need fine lines, this little fold up tool is a great thing to have in your toolbox. The very thin blade scores sharp, thin folds easily and the rotary blade emerges only 1/8 of an inch from the support, which protects it from bending or going off true.

Even better, the blade folds away neatly into the handle leaving you needing storage for an ergonomic handle only 2 1/4 inches long with a fully protected blade. A molded finger rest helps you apply pressure over the blade, and the rounded handle helps the tool fit neatly into your palm. The tool rolls very easily making it good for curved or straight lines as the blade is secured on track by its hooded blade surround.

Cost These are inexpensive tools, a set of consisting of a mini rotary cutter, a mini perforator and a mini scoring tool cost under $10.00. Individually the tools are around $3.00 each.

Where to Find Them? These tools are most often found online or in speciality scrapbooking stores.
