The details above in dolls house scale have been shaped in polymer clay and baked to cure them. Once cured, final adjustments in the finish can be made to prepare the details for molding in silicone putty. To make the molds easier to use on walls or furniture, details should be set on a flat surface so that silicone putty will make a mold with a flat top. Here a scroll and a set of tiny flowers have been shaped in waste polymer clay baked flat on a tile. Enough space has been left between the items to allow silicone putty to be set over them to form simple molds.
