Set Up the Ribbon Loops Using bent nose tweezers, widen each of the loops of ribbon, and make it sit up against the center of the bow by twisting it gently into place. This will give you a shaped bow instead of a group of ribbon loops. When you have the bow shaped properly, you can cover the wire in the center if necessary by tying one end of the free ribbon around the center, or by gluing a tiny piece of ribbon over the wire to cover it.
Fixing Uneven Bows Don't worry about the final shape of your bow until you have it wired into place on your wreath or floral arrangement. Often wiring it in place will pull the center of the bow back into the greenery and the bow will appear fuller. If your bow doesn't look right, or needs more bulk on one side, you can cut an extra ribbon loop, wrap the ends with wire to secure them, and add this extra loop into your bow to balance it. You can also add longer ribbon ends into bows by wrapping wire around a piece of ribbon and adding it in to the back of the bow. This is useful if you change your mind and want long ends for a wreath or package.
