To make printable miniature pumpkin boxes you will need:
- A letter sized sheet of photo paper, lightweight card, or good quality printer paper.
- White (PVA) glue
- Sharp Fine Pointed Scissors curved and straight
- Straight Edge for scoring the box side tabs
- Paper embossing tool or a rounded toothpick or other implement to press the glued tabs in place
- Optional – lining paper for interiors or tissue paper or cellophane for see through eyes and mouths if you wish.
Printing the Miniature Pumpkin Box Parts
Begin by printing the Adobe Acrobat (pdf ) file for the Pumpkin Shaped Box Parts. The file for the small pumpkin boxes (suitable for a single truffle or the correct size for a 1:12 scale dolls house scene will print the parts for eight boxes in 1:12 scale, approximately 1 inch in diameter. The file for the larger pumpkin boxes will hold two truffles and is sized for1:6 (fashion doll) scale. The file will print parts for four boxes. Each box measures approximately two inches across.
All boxes can be made with separable lids and the and the top can be changed to make a plain pumpkin or a Halloween Jack O Lantern.
