Finishing the Miniature Cut Out Paper Trees

Cut paper trees made from white paper create a winter scene.

Easy to make paper trees can be grouped for a decorative miniature scene.

To finish the trees, fold each section of paper back along the central line to form a crease after you have finished cutting out the design. Open out the pages so that they are spaced evenly around the centre core of the tree. Trim the trunk if necessary to make sure the tree balances well. Decorate the tree with colored pencils, glitter, snow crystals, sequins or stickers if desired. When you have finished displaying the trees, fold them flat and store them in an envelope for another use.
