This printable storage envelope will fit in a miniature organizer and hold receipts, samples of fabric or wallpaper or other things to help you plan your miniature projects. To make the envelope, open and print the pdf (acrobat reader) page for the 2011 Miniature Planner Storage Envelope.
To Make the Storage Envelope
- Trim the envelope from the page, and fold along all the dashed lines on the envelope as shown in the photo above.
- Turn the long edges of the envelope to the back (white side) of the paper, and use a glue stick to apply a thin layer of glue to the folded (colored) edges.
- Fold the envelope between the lines for the organizer rings, and glue the envelope sides together. If you wish you can make a sturdier envelope by also running a narrow band of glue along the line of the holes for the organizer, gluing the base of the envelope where the holes will be together, so that small items cannot fall out the organizer holes when the envelope is assembled.
- Fold over the envelope flap. If you want to make an envelope that seals, you can apply a bit of lightweight velcro to the underside of the flap and a matching piece on the area marked on the top of the envelope.
