A 1:144 scale bank makes a substantial building for a Christmas village, or a good tree ornament.

To hang the small buildings as ornaments, knot a strand of gold thread and use a fine needle to draw it through the roof of the building, return the thread through the same hole and tie the ends together, leaving a hanging loop above the roof. Cover the knot on the inside of the roof with a small piece of tape to strengthen it.
