Assemble the Floors
Do not proceed until the glue is dry from the previous step of assembling the interior.
- Crease the building along the fold lines for the sides, making sure the interiors fold crisply.
- Cut out the wood floor Test fit it to make sure it fits into the slots between the second floor wall paper baseboard and the wall paper cornice below. Trim to fit if necessary.
- Run a small line of glue along the side supports for the tile floor.
- Glue the floor sides to the sides of the building, just below the green wallpaper. Set aside to dry.
- Glue the second floor in place by putting a small amount of glue on its side and back edges and sliding it carefully into the slot between the floor support and the wall paper baseboard.
- Press the sides of the building gently against the floor to ensure the glue adheres. Lay the building on its side and weight the top side with a ruler until the walls are glued to the floor
Assemble the Roof
- Glue the folded brick edgeat the front of the roof to form the front roof edge.
- Glue the folded brick edge at the back of the roof to form the cross piece between the tops of the sides to match the back edge of the side of the bank.
- Run a bead of glue along the side edges of the tile section of the roof Set the roof in place matching the roof peak with the peak on the sides of the bank. Press the roof in place and set it aside to dry.
