The other shops are assembled following the same instructions as for the first shop. The shop on the bottom of the page has a double pitched roof. Trim the second part of this roof to shape before you glue the floors into the shop. Use the front peak of the shop as a guide to trimming the side roof pieces. Assemble the second, smaller roof for the side peak of the shop. Fold it in half along the peak and hold it square to the front peak of the shop, leaving the correct overhang to the side front edge of the shop (no overhang if you want the shops to stand tight together). Mark the angle of the peak onto the roof, and trim both side pieces of the roof to this angle. Assemble the shop as you did the others, gluing the main roof onto the shop first, then glueing the second side roof in place to the main roof and the side peak of the building.

To hang the small shops as ornaments, knot a strand of gold thread and use a fine needle to draw it through the roof of the house, return the thread through the same hole and tie the ends together, leaving a hanging loop above the house. Cover the knot on the inside of the roof with a small piece of tape to strengthen it.
