A micro scale dolls house makes a good building for a miniature Christmas village Scene.

To hang the small buildings as ornaments, knot a strand of gold thread and use a fine needle to draw it through the roof of the house, return the thread through the same hole and tie the ends together, leaving a hanging loop above the house. Cover the knot on the inside of the roof with a small piece of tape to strengthen it.
