The following list of quick and easy model horse projects are great for those times when you just feel like making something for your model horses but don't want to invest days or weeks into the project. Each project uses materials you can usually find around the house and don't cost a fortune to make. So take out your favorite model horse, gather your materials and get crafting!
1. Make a Braided Arabian Halter for a Breyer Horse Model

If you know how to make a basic braid, this simple halter is made from embroidery thread and can be made to fit any size Breyer horse model. It's probably easiest to start with a Traditional scale Breyer such as the Family Arabians or the Proud Arabians.
2. Make an Arena Backdrop for Model Horse Photo Show Pictures

This arena backdrop is made from a big piece of cardboard, paints, pencils and painter's tape. You can make this in about an hour and start taking photo show pictures almost right away.
3. Make Printable Dressage Arena Markers for Breyer Model Horses

These arena markers can be printed on any home printer, trimmed to size, and mounted on an arena setup. You can also make the Versailles Planter Box from a printable pattern and mount them on the boxes for an elegant model horse scene.
