On the About.com Miniatures GuideSite, we will begin voting for the three categories listed below on February 11th. .
Feel free to vote for any of the finalists, and spread the news to your friends. Finalists are chosen based on popularity, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements listed in each category.
Up to five finalists in each category will be announced on February 11, and voting will run from February 11 through March 8. The winners will be announced on March 15.
1. Best Miniature Project or Technique Book Category
The finalists in this category ares miniature project or technique book, from painting military figures to making dolls house miniatures, to creating bonsai. I’ve intentionally left this category open to any publishing date, as some of the old references may be your favorites, above anything published in the last year. .
2. Best Miniature Blog
Like the book category, this is open to all categories of miniaturists. Make sure you spread the word about your favorite finalist for the voting.
3. Best Dolls House or Building Kit
This category is for any dolls house or other building kit, from any material (including paper), in any scale.
