Winner - Best Miniature Project or Technique Book - Readers' Choice 2011
I've reviewed Christine Lea-Frisoni's book Le Grand Livre De La Maison Miniature on the miniatures site as it is a wonderful book on creating French style and shabby chic miniatures, using primarily bristol board or heavy card and other basic materials for the many projects. Although written in French, the book's excellent illustrations make it possible for someone not fluent in the language to follow the techniques with the aide of a dictionary or some simple translation.
