Difficult Coat Patterns in Scale

Horse coat patterns are difficult to represent in scale. The underlying musculature has to be right, and the coat has to be the right length or it is very easy to make a shaggy looking animal. This pinto or skewbald coat pattern is well represented and the horse's listening posture makes it easy to set into a scene in many ways.
