Check the size of your chosen illustration or photograph to make sure it is in scale with the collectibles you are showcasing in your miniature display box. If you have a digital or scanned photo you can crop it to remove any problem details then enlarge the photo so that it will cover the entire back of your display box.

Enlarge or reduce the illustration. If you have a magazine illustration or a printed photo, scan it into your computer or take it to an office supply store who can enlarge or reduce the photo with a photocopier to get it to the right size for the back of your box. A copy shop can put a colour copy of your photo or illustration onto a glossy card stock that will give it the same look as a photograph.

Trim your photo/illustration to fit on the back wall of the box. Leave enough room in from the edges of the back to allow the back to slide into place or close properly.
