Check the Back View of Your Bouquet The back of your bouquet should have a handle that comes out of the bouquet just above the main bow. The main bouquet and the top pieces come together so their wires meet in the center of the bouquet to form the handle.

Wrap The Handle tightly with thread or florist's tape to hold it together (you can use glue to hold the wrapped thread in place)

Trim the Handle by using a pair of wire cutters to cut through the clump of wires. Leave enough of a handle for a doll to hold, or enough to set the bouquet into the icing on a cake as a decoration.

Wrap the Handle With Ribbon Finish the bouquet by taking a piece of ribbon and laying it under the bouquet so that the ribbon forms a trailing pieces below the bottom of the bouquet. Where the ribbon reaches the handle, wrap it around the handle one or two times. If it is wired ribbon, you can bring it back up above the handle to make a slight trailing piece of ribbon on the top of the bouquet. If it is not wired, you will use it only to decorate the handle and add the ribbon trailers to the bottom of the bouquet.
