Begin to Widen the Bouquet Add three open roses behind the four rosebuds you have in the trailing base of the bouquet. Add these three roses so that they go across the width of the bouquet formed by the last two ribbon loops (which angle out to each side of the first rosebud group). After you place these roses (bent so they face up) Use florist's tape or thread to hold them in place. Do not tape each rose or your bouquet handle will become to thick. Wrap them in place with thread or florist's tape in a group of three.

Create a Group for the Top of The Bouquet You can also use two rose buds and a full blown rose to make the piece that will finish the top of the bouquet. Make this by creating a similar piece to the trailing group of three buds you started your bouquet with. Use a ribbon loop, then the smallest rosebud, a larger rosebud and a full blown rose on the top to create this piece. Set it aside for a later step.
