To Make a Miniature Bouquet You Will Need:

  • Twelve miniature roses (or other flowers) You can purchase or make these following the instructions for miniature roses. If you make your own roses, make 5 to 7 rose buds on very fine (#30) wire, rather than making all the flowers fully opened. Roses you make yourself should not have leaves attached, they will be added in separately as you make the bouquet.
  • Rose Leaves or other scale greenery. These can be made using a rose leaf paper punch or laser rose leaves in scale, or you can use the tips of asparagus fern or tiny leaves from aquarium plants.
  • Wire Use very fine wire to keep the bulk of the bouquet down. #28 or #30 are preferred. You will need one or two 12 inch pieces for the bows.
  • Fine Ribbon in a color which coordinates with the roses.
  • Floral tape or you can use green thread the color of the rose stems, if you have candle wax or beeswax and can wax the thread, waxed thread is easier to use as it will stick to itself.
  • White(PVA) Glue

You can make this bouquet in several scales providing you have suitable flowers. (flowers which are no more than a size which equals two to three inches across in real life)). I am showing you how to make a purely rose bouquet but you can add other flowers in to a mixed bouquet if you wish, just use the appropriate sized flowers. You can also use different greenery if you cannot
