Shape the Paper Roll Into a Fitted Cap

  • Shape the Paper Roll by gently pressing the centre of the roll over the head of your miniature (or a rounded hat stand, or chess pawn). This will cause the roll to become bowl shaped. Usually the back of the hat is lower than the front.
  • Set the Graduation Year to the back of the head.
  • Glue the inside of the bowl shape and set it aside to dry. When it is dry check that it fits your doll or teddy if required. If you are using the hats for decorations you don't need to fit them to a head.
