Mix equal parts of medium acrylic gel together with acrylic paint to produce the icing effect you want for your scale miniature or dolls house cake. Soft gel gloss medium will produce drooping peaks which look like marshmallow frosting, Medium Matte gel will produce a firmer icing which resembles a butter frosting.
When you have the gel and acrylic paint mixed evenly, use a stirring stick to load your glue syringe or glue bottle with the mixture. Remember you will need to wash this mixture out before it sets or your application bottle or syringe will be ruined! Mix more acrylic and medium than you think you will need, a lot will be needed to make sure the syringe or bottle are full enough to work.
