Prepare the Wire Branches for a Miniature Easter Ornament Display Tree

While the painted container for your miniature ornament display is drying, prepare the wire branches. Wrap individual pieces of wire around a nail or knitting needle, or some other round metal object, to form the spiral pattern in the branches which will hold the ornaments secure.

Try to wrap a spiral six inches long at the top of each piece of wire.

Prepare an odd number of wires, 7, 9 or 11, depending on the size of your base, the size of your table, and the number of Easter ornaments you want to display.
