Gather the Materials for Making 1:12 Scale Dolls House Blackberries

To make these miniature black berries for a dolls house scene you will need:

  • Black Microbeads - (0.5mm) no hole beads. Other colors (wine red and green) if you want even more realistic berries! These are available from scrapbook stores or online.
  • Sewing Thread - white (for berry centers if berries are on their own) or green if berries are to be clustered as if on stems.
  • PVA Glue – white glue, thin works better for this project than does thick glue.
  • A Round Sided Bead Holder - I use a plastic flower palette for paints but you can substitute any small shape with rounded sides, a teaspoon measure for example. The rounded sides run the beads back down into the centre which makes them easier to work with.
