When the bottom logs are securely attached to the craft sticks, lift up the assembly and insert your wired LED lights through the base of your fire.

  • Bend the wires at the base of the LED's so that the wires easily come out the back of your firelogs, between the two craft sticks. Use a piece of masking tape or other heavy tape to hold the wires and the LEDs in place between the logs. The bulb of the LEDs should just stick up above the top of the log.
  • Now place your second set of logs at right angles to the first set across the top. Turn on your light assembly (attach the battery) and position your top log so that they cover the blinking LEDs on either side of the orange LED in the center. You want the blinking effect to come from under the logs, not the middle of the fire. When the logs are in the location, glue them in place with the pva glue and set the fire aside to dry.
