- Prepare the Wiring
- Remove the plug from the dolls house lamp wire (if it is attached). Most plugs remove easily if you pull out the individual brass pins with pliers, then pull the wire back through the centre of the plug.
- Remember how the plug came apart as you assemble it again at the end of the project! This plug has a longer end which is inserted into the plug. The shorter ends of the pin will insert into the wall outlet or socket.
- Cut Basswood for the Bear Lamp Base
- Cut a piece of basswood to a size suitable for the lamp base. Layout your bear bead on the base to make sure the bead stands evenly on the base.
- Sand the edges at a 45 degree angle to give them a profile.
