Fill Your Jar and Glue on the Base
When the neck of the jar is dry, turn your jar carefully upside down and fill it through the bottom opening. Use the pin to run a small bead of glue along the open bottom edge of the cylinder and glue the final large circle over the cylinder to make the base of your jar. Set it carefully aside to dry.
When all the glue is completely dry, turn your jar right side up and set it in your display with the glued seam facing away from the viewer.
To simulate liquid fillings
If you want to try to make the jars look full of liquid contents (for canning jars of polymer clay pickles or fruit pieces) place the dry pieces in the jar, then add a bit of clear pva glue to the jar. When it dries it will have the effect of water. You can add watercolor paint to glue and place it inside the jars to simulate colored liquids, but remember that the jar will need to dry upside down, so there will be no space for 'air' at the top of your jar, unless you first allow a small amount of pva glue to dry clear , then add in the colored glue on top of the dry clear glue before you put the jar base in place.
