Shelf Parts for a Miniature Cabin Front Porch Display Shelf

To create a dollhouse scale (1:12 scale) display shelf for a miniature cabin, cut a shelf base 7 inches by 20 inches and a facade support 1 inch by 13 ¼ inches (or length and width you want your facade and shelf) from ¼ inch birch plywood. Glue the facade support to line up square with the back edge of the shelf, or move it ¼ inch or more forward if you want to add lighting or a minor window scene behind the windows of your facade.
