Draw a line across the front of your Gatorfoam board at the top of the wall. This will be the separation line between the clapboard finish and the siding finish on your miniature facade. Draw a second line ¾ of an inch up from the bottom edge if you haven't already done this when you placed your dollhouse windows and door. This will be the bottom line of the siding and batten pieces. Do not place any wood on the facade below this level or the porch will not fit up against the facade.

Cut basswood pieces from the 1/16 x 4 x 24 inch stock and glue them to one surface of your porch piece to act as a floor. Clamp them in place if necessary. Cut more pieces from the same wood to fit on your cabin front as siding. Each join will be covered by a wood batten

Before you glue the basswood check that your batten lines will space more or less evenly across the front of your cabin. Adjust the basswood siding if necessary by making some pieces thinner to move joins to a more appropriate place.

If you wish to age rather than paint your wood surface (the example is aged raw wood) prepare an ageing solution of white vinegar and steel wool. The solution must sit overnight before you can use it to age wood.
