This dollhouse scale miniature picnic basket is made from needlework canvas and embroidery thread. This is a simple technique for creating woven wicker effects in miniature. Here it is used in a miniature scene with Churchill the Polar Bear which is also a beginner project on this site and Norvelle the beginner's bear kit from miniature bear artisan Josephine Parnell.
