You can take your best friend anywhere if you make a needlefelted miniature dog. These poseable dogs can be made with long or short hair, and individualized coat markings. This technique can be used to make dogs down to roughly 1:48 scale. The one shown in the picture is 1:12 or dolls house scale.

The needlefelt technique is an easy one to master, but as it requires very sharp needles it is not recommended for a child's project. A dog like the one shown can be made in an hour or two, depending on the details you need to mimic.
