A vintage shadowgraph series Christmas card no. 507 from Raphael Tuck and Sons features black cats with mistletoe.
Photo ©2008 Lesley Shepherd, Licensed to About.com Inc.Raphael Tuck and Sons created a Shadowgraph series of cards many of which feature cats. Similar designs were used for the Halloween series. This card is postmarked 1910 and is in good condition. Interestingly the shadows of the cats don't match the sizes of the cats as they are drawn. This card is labelled no. 907 in the Shadowgraph Christmas series.
