For miniaturists, running a model truck tire through a coat of paint mixed with extra heavy gel will create the effects of deep mud in terrain scenes for railroad dioramas or miniature wargaming terrain. It is useful anywhere a detailed thickness of paint is useful, in modelling rocks, waterfalls etc., for dollhouse and scale scenes.
