Make the Front Chair Legs Trim two twigs which have a y join, so that they are a bit longer than 1 1/2 inches with the y join at the top and the arm of the y equal to the length of your chair seat . For a 1:12 scale chair this will be between 1 inch and 1 1/4 inches long.

Glue the Front Legs to the Chair Seat Turn the chair seat upside down and glue the front legs to the top side of it as shown in the photo so that the legs are roughly square with the front of the seat, and the y joints glue to the seat base to hold the legs in place. Set aside to dry.

Brace the Front Legs Cut a piece of dried twig to fit between the front legs and glue it in place about 1/4 inch down the legs from the seat. Set aside to dry.
