Here's Sharon Motasky's description of her house

The Walmer dollhouses were built in the 1970s and are characterized by mansard roofs, chunky window detailing, and a construction where the walls slotted together and are held by wooden pins. There were only a few of this particular kit made. The Walmer Company sold out to Real Good Toys about 15 years ago. This house has 12 rooms and stands about 4 feet tall.

I purchased this dollhouse for my daughters in 1976. They had many years of pleasure, playing, decorating, and so much fun in experiencing a miniature fantasy.

I now have had the opportunity to renovate, redecorate and recapture memories and history of my girls and the Walmer Dollhouse.
