Finish the Front Edges of the Dolls House Roombox

Half an inch of paper is folded over the edges of a Davey Board Roombox and glued down.

The interior paper covering is folded over the edges of the bookbox creating a neat finish.

Trim and Cover the Front Edges Follow the process from the previous step, trimming a triangle out of each corner, to neatly cover the front side wall edges of the roombox, the same way you covered the top edges.

Bend the paper you cut open with an X in the wall openings so that the paper goes through the opening to the outside of the box. Neatly trim the excess paper to about 1/2 inch on the outside. Use the bone folder to smooth the paper down over the opening edges to make a tight crease. Apply glue to the back side of the paper edges and glue them to the outside of the wall openings. Smooth them carefully in place.

Leave to dry
