Finish Sewing the Mini Hippo's Body

Sew the body of the miniature felt hippo leaving an opening at the bottom to turn the body right side out.

Carefully line up the seam edges at the shoulder, right where you stopped sewing the head together. Continue to sew the side seams until you finish halfway down the base of the lower legs. Leave at least a 1 1/2 inch opening to turn the rest of the body.

• Stitch the Lower Jaw and Cheeks of the Hippopotamus Head
• Sew the Top of the Head to the Cheeks
• Turn the Head Right Side Out
• Tuck the Head Inside the Body and Continue Sewing
• Finish Sewing the Mini Hippo's Body
• Turn the Body and Finish the Head
• Stuff the Remainder of the Miniature Hippo's Body
