Make a Miniature Felt Hippopotamus

By Lesley Shepherd, About.com

Tuck the Head Inside the Body and Continue Sewing

Miniature hippo body with head already turned to the right side before you complete the sewing.

With the head turned right side out, continue to sew the body together, being careful not to catch the head in your stitches.

Turn the body parts back so that you can continue sewing the seams on the wrong side of the body. The head you turned in the previous step will now be right side out in the center of the body, below the neck as shown in the photo.
