The parts for the miniature rocking duck are outlined on pdf (acrobat reader required) printable sheets. Open and print off the sheet you require for the duck in your particular scale size, from the following list:
Use a pencil or a ball point embossing tool (see photo above) to trace the outlines of the sides of the duck onto wood, Davey Board/Bookboard or stiff card. When tracing the parts onto wood, lay the design of the sides of the duck so it lays across a 3 inch wide strip of craftwood, this will make it slightly stronger than if you lay it lengthwise along the grain of the wood. For ducks in smaller scales, thick card works best, and you can back the printable with card and cut the parts directly from that for your miniature.
