Before you begin, roll the orange exterior 'wall' of the cupcake building so that it is curved as shown in the photo above. Carefully turn up the flaps on the base and glue them to the interior of the orange wall section. You want to glue the wall so that approximately three 'flaps' of the base remain free. They will be trimmed when the wall is finished.
Some people find it easier to begin with the interior wall. It is glued to the base with the tabs from the base on the white site of the interior (the back of the wall). The cupcake 'cup' is constructed so that the tabs for the base are glued between the wall layers.
Take your time and make your cup as round as possible. The top edge will flare away from the base, but this will be adjusted later when you fit the foam top. Check that your finished cup has an even base to stand on.
If you are gluing your printable parts to a paper cup, you should not need to add a base. Glue the printable to the outside of the paper cup, trimming the cup and the printable if necessary. The printable should only reach 2/3 to 3/4 of the way around the cup base. Trim away an opening between the walls so your finished cup resembles the one assembled from the printables in the photo above.
