This Halloween cupcake or fairy cake made from free printables in roughly 1:48 scale can be used as a setting for a number of Halloween miniature displays or decorations. The cupcake is based on a design for cupcake shops, exhibited at the Fall 2009 Seattle Dollhouse Miniature Show . This display can be made by gluing the printables to a suitable sized paper cup, or it can be built to a cup shape from scratch using the instructions in this tutorial.
If you want to build a variety of cupcake shops, use the printables as a template and make your own shops using suitable paper. The miniature witch shown with the shop, was made in 1:48 scale following the instructions for making simple witches or witch costumes in dolls house scales.
