Miniature and Dolls House Versailles Planters Folded From Card or Veneer
Versailles Planters are square wooden planters with corner finials which are used for everything from dressage markers, to elegant planted frames for a door. These miniature planters can be made for a dolls house scene, or used as markers for a model horse course. As these miniature planters are quick and easy to make, they can be made in larger sizes as wedding or shower favors or table decorations.
In these instructions I show them unfinished and in a fairly basic state which is easily achievable by children as well as adults. You can make these planters from lighweight card and veneer which can be cut with scissors instead of knives. Adults who take a bit of care will be able to turn out these little planters with a range of different panels and decorative styles from very simple materials.
If you want to plant them with traditional shaped topiaries, there are instructions available for making miniature ivy and moss heart topiaries for the planters.
