This quarter scale dolls house bakery case is made from either wood veneer edge banding or card. It can be made with a painted shelf, or a clear plastic shelf to resemble glass. The clear plastic cover fits over the base to allow you access to the case contents.
If you prefer, you can make cases with higher backs and more shelves to act as open shelving for a quarter scale shop. If you want to store a lot of heavy items on the shelves, you will need to brace them at the sides, as well as glue them into the back support slot.
The finished case will measure 1 inch wide by one inch tall by roughly 1/2 inch deep. This corresponds to a full size case which is four feet wide by four feet high by 24 inches deep. (Case interior of roughly 18 to 20 inch depth).
