If the line of stitching matched the edge of the doll's foot in your test in the previous step, trim the interfacing (if you used interfacing) from the outer bottom edge of the slipper back to the line of stitching as shown (see photo). Check that the fabric will fit neatly over the base of the doll's foot, trim any excess fabric away carefully. You can also cut into the curve along the base of the toe, cutting into the fabric just below the stitching the marks the fold line. Do not cut across the stitching into the main part of the slipper!
