If you are sure the slipper upper is glued only to the insole (and not the doll's foot or stocking) leave the slipper upper and insole on the doll's foot until the glue dries. If you may have stuck the slipper to the doll's foot, gently remove the slipper and insole combination and set the slipper aside to dry. Check that the slipper will stand squarely on the insole, without big lumps of fabric under the insole. Trim the fabric if necessary and remove any visible stitching after the slipper insole glue is dry.
