The tea set can be made with any of the three shapes of cups or mugs, with or without saucers. The pieces in the kitchen canister set or casserole set can be used to make dessert plates, plates, fruit bowls and other pieces for a miniature scene.

Along with the labeled parts for the tea set, there is a colored square included to produce colored card which can be used to make handles for ladles, spoons, knives, or used to make a simple cylindrical vase to match the tea set.

The colored section can also be used to make juice glasses using either the coffee or tea mug shape as a basic pattern and extending it higher than mug height.
