To Assemble the Printable Aprons

  • Print out your chosen pdf file onto fabric or paper or use the pdf file as a pattern to cut an apron from your chosen paper or fabric.
  • Cut your chosen apron from your fabric or paper.
  • If you are using fabric, turn over 1/8 inch along the edges, insert a short length of embroidery thread, ribbon or crochet cord for the neck tie, making sure it is long enough to fit over your doll's head. Glue and seal the edges with fray check. Insert lengths of ribbon, embroidery thread or crochet cotton into the side seam edge on either side just below the arms (see photo) and seal the side seam edges over a short length of the tie.
  • If you are using paper, turn 1/8 inch over at the neck edge and insert a suitable length of ribbon, crochet cotton or embroidery thread to make a neck tie as shown in the photo above. Turn in 1/8 inch on either side edge and insert a section of cord or thread for the waist tie. Glue the end of the tie into the side edge as shown in the photo above.
