More Paper Shops in 1:144 Scale
This paper emporium and house are part of a series of 1:144 printable miniature buildings. These buildings are slightly more difficult than the first three shops in this scale. If you reduce the size of these diagrams slightly you can create buildings in N scale for a railroad or Christmas Train layout. The dog, cat and fire hydrant in the photo are N scale train accessories.
You can use these little buildings for a static temporary display, or glue the designs to wood or bristol board and create something more permanent. Their size means they can also be used to make decorative gift boxes (make a fitted back and base) or use them as Christmas tree ornaments.
To make this set of two miniature village shops in 1:144 scale you will need:
- Computer Printer.
- 1 piece 8 ½ by 11 inch good quality heavy weight printer paper (or regular paper if you will glue it to something sturdier) or photo paper or card stock
- Sharp Scissors
- PVA (white) glue or a good quality glue stick
- Thin aircraft plywood (1/8 or 1/16 inch) or bristol board if you want to make sturdier buildings
- colored pencils or chalks to adjust colors if needed
