Scale SizeThe designs shown are in 1:12 scale. If you wish to resize them to a different scale, reduce the size of the illustration via your printer software. Check the actual size of your printed sample to the scale ruler on the illustration. For 1:12 scale decorations, the ruler should measure 3 inches as shown. For 1:24 scale, the ruler would only measure 1 1/2 inches and so on for each modification in scale. A pdf (acrobat reader) version of this file is also available.
As Window Decorations To use these scale decorations in miniature window scenes, print them on a good quality text weight paper.
Lengths of Garland can be cut out separately and glued together by leaving a small tab at the end of each cut out section to glue behind the next section as you add it in for length.For free standing decorations, or to hang the decorations from miniature trees, print them onto photo weight paper.
Coat the printed decorations with an acrylic sealer or acrylic varnish and allow it to dry before you handle or cut out the miniatures. This will protect them from wear and make them water resistant.
